Welcome to MyHousing Hub, a digital platform built exclusively for the cooperative housing community in Ontario, Canada. By accessing or using our mobile application, web platform, or associated services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). 1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian to use MyHousingHub. By using this app, you confirm that you are authorized to represent either yourself as a resident or the co-operative housing board/administration.
2. User Roles and Responsibilities
Residents/Members can submit maintenance requests, view documents, make payments, receive notices, participate in polls, and communicate within the community.
Admins/Board Members can manage unit data, view reports, publish announcements, assign maintenance, manage financial records, and access compliance tools. Each user agrees to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials
- Use the Service only for lawful and cooperative housing-related purposes
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Upload harmful content or attempt to reverse-engineer any portion of the app
- Use the Service for any activity that is abusive, harassing, or discriminatory
- Post confidential or personally identifiable information without consent
4. Subscription and Payments
Certain features may be subject to a paid subscription, governed by a separate pricing plan. By subscribing, you agree to the applicable billing terms, which may be monthly or annually, and to keep your payment information up-to-date.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these Terms
- Your use negatively impacts the cooperative or other users
- Required subscription payments are not made
Users may also terminate their use at any time, but all fees paid are non-refundable.
6. Data Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. MyHousingHub is designed in accordance with PIPEDA and Ontario housing regulations.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may use third-party APIs or integrations (e.g., payment gateways, chat platforms, SMS providers). MyHousingHub is not responsible for the performance, accuracy, or data use of third-party services.
8. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll notify you of material changes via the app or registered email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyHousing Hub is not liable for any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
